I have ordained you to walk before me as a vessel of honor. I have called you unto Myself, that where I am, you may be also. I have succoured you unto Myself.

You are My prize, My joy and My delight in whom I am well-pleased. I know your heart. It is perfect toward Me.

I will keep you and preserve your soul from destruction. I will be a Father unto you and you shall abide in me forever, world without end.

I have called you by name and ordered your path, that you may know Me in the fullness of my glory.

I have chosen you to bear My Name unto the nations and to declare My glory unto the ends of the earth.

You are my chosen vessel, created unto good works wherein I have called you to walk therein, a blessing to many, a source of joy to a downcast and heavy laden people.

Look up, for I come even now to fill you with all fullness.

Your joy shall be full and complete. Your Peace shall be great. And your love shall be unfailing and unconditional. Your walk shall be upright and perfect without spot or blemish.

For I shall fill you full of My own self that there will be no room for strife or envy or jealousy or any such thing.

2 Samuel 24 –

If GOD be for you

it is more than the whole world against you.

if the whole world be for you

GOD be against you

it shall profit you nothing.

Just trust in the LORD to fight for you

to send the help you need

when you need it.

Stop looking to natural support

begin looking to supernatural help from GOD alone.

I Am The Gift

Prayed that the LORD would teach through me, and impart into the students what He knows they have need of.

He alone knows them intimately.

Pray the LORD will save, sanctify and fill with the Holy Spirit. And that He set direction and purpose.

Youth-in-Christ ~

The Bible talks about a “generation that seeks the LORD” in Psalm 24:6.

I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about it, but GOD wants you to be the generation this scripture is talking about.

There are so many things in life that we look for:

  • friendship
  • acceptance
  • respect
  • love
  • security
  • status and so much more.

Think about what you’re looking and hoping for in your life at this moment.

Now ask yourself: “What will I have once I’ve gotten all of those things?”

A lot of times we think that we’re finally going to be happy, finally going to be stronger, or smarter, more successful, or more desired.

“If only I had ___ , so-and-so would like me”… “If only I was more ___, I could be happy.”

If you choose to live life like that, you will constantly be disappointed.

Because eventually, you will find out that no matter how much money, how many friends, who likes or doesn’t like you, or how successful you are — it still won’t fulfill you inside.

But Guess What?

Nothing on this earth is supposed to. Only GOD can give you true satisfaction in your soul!

So What Now?

Well, we’re glad you are here, because you’re going to learn the answer to that question.

He truly and deeply cares about everything that’s going on in your life.

If you are tired of searching and looking for stuff that can’t help you, it’s now time to look at GOD.

But Check This Out …

The Bible says that if you will seek Him, you will find Me, when you search for Me with your whole heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

We truly believe that GOD brought you to the “Oil of Joy” blog today for you to start seeking Him.

Let’s Go!!

The Reserve

There were some people concerned about the animal population in Africa. They decided to build a wildlife Reserve. They erected a fence around it.

Everything that was inside of the fence was considered part of the Reserve - the animals, trees and vegetation. Everything outside of the fence was considered jungle and wild.

In drought they would make sure the animals inside the fence had water. They would feed them in the lean years to preserve them.

They noticed a young male lion always sitting at the fence looking into the jungle. And it was commented that he looked so sad. And everyone wondered why he sat there day after day looking into the jungle. No one knew why he did that.

One day a tree fell on the fence and broke it. All the wild animals rushed onto the Reserve and began to kill and eat all the protected animals.  The young lion ran up to a pride of invading lions to befriend them. They attacked him and would have killed him, but he found a cleft and hid himself.

It took two weeks before order could be restored and the fence repaired.  The young lion was no where to be seen. Finally, he reemerged. He never went back and sat at the fence after that.

The moral of the story is that the fence was not there to keep the young lion in, but to keep the wild animals out.

The rules that parents come up with are not there to keep you from having fun, or to have you bound, or to make you sad. Parents know what it takes to keep the devil off of you.

It goes back to the things that God will and won’t allow to preserve your life.  It was grace that whatever was inside the fence was protected. What was on the inside didn’t choose it. They were chosen by the ones who put up the fence.

It was for their own protection that they were fed, watered and cared for. The wild animals weren’t raised like that. They only knew what their nature taught them, in other words, they were carnal.

And again the moral is that the fence was never there to keep the young lion in, it was there to keep the wild animals out. The young lion didn’t realize that what he had was better than what they had.
